Luton North was created in 1983, primarily from the former seat of Luton West. It is a borough constituency which represents the northern portion of the town of Luton.
Following the latest review into parliamentary representation in Bedfordshire and Luton, the Boundary Commission for England made only minor alterations to the existing constituencies.
