Pertaining to or characterized by proliferation of lymphoid tissue.

  • l. disease — a general term applied to a group of diseases characterized by proliferation of lymphoid tissue and abnormal lymphoid elements in the peripheral blood, such as lymphocytic leukemia and lymphosarcoma.
  • turkey l. disease — a disease of young turkeys probably caused by a retrovirus and with lymphoproliferative lesions.
