Notes

  • The album's tracklist numbers and the lyrics of the first track are in Russian.
  • The melody for "Deity" appears to be derived from a portion of Johannes Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 5.
  • In deviation with its official romanization, the kanji title of track three transliterates as "riyû", yet both "riyû" (理由) and "wake" (訳) can mean "reason".
  • "egnirys cimredopyh" is "hypodermic syringe" spelled backwards; it was spelled in this manner to pass the censorship board in Japan.
  • There are alternate romanizations for the title of track six, "Hotarubi" and "Keika". Both translate as "light of the firefly".
  • When read left to right, "揚羽ノ羽ノ夢ハ蛹" transliterates as "Ageha no Hane no Yume wa Sanagi", or "The Swallowtail's Wings' Dream is the Chrysalis". However, the title contains numbered furigana above it, which suggests that the title is to be read as "Sanagi no Yume wa Ageha no Hane", or "The Chrysalis' Dream is the Swallowtail's Wings".
  • "Rasetsukoku" translates to "Man-eating Devil Country", and was the Chinese name for Russia during the Qing Dynasty.
  • The original print's album case features an etched, tinted jewel case and 5 wooden beads.
  • A rearrangement of the track "Hydra" appears on the single "Dozing Green" as a B-side.[1]
  • Due to the booklets features [2 Pages each for the song lyrics, 2 pictures of each band member, 6 photo pages, 2 credit pages, and a track listing page] and thickness, and the size of the 5 wooden beads inserted in the traycard spine window, the artwork and disc were packaged in a very thick CD Case. This is common with most full-length Dir en grey albums.
