Plot

Basara Nekki of the series Macross 7, has been wandering the universe in his mecha, spreading the gospel of his pop/rock music to anyone who will listen. When he lands on an extremely cold planet hoping for a new audience, he finds that the inhabitants don't take well to uninvited guests, and they immediately take him prisoner. Using his usual line of defense, Basara simply sings for his captors to earn his freedom. Sure enough, a small boy named Pedro recognizes the voice of Basara as the lead singer of the Fire Bombers, the most popular band in the galaxy. He is set free, and soon afterward a mysterious noise begins emanating from the distance.
