A hand that is complete using the players hole cards and including the cards on the board. Made hands consist of a straight or better.
SoundPoker Says: Depending on what a player's hole cards consist of, and what the board shows, many players can have a "made hand". It then comes down to which made hand ranks the strongest. If your hole cards were K-10, and the flop showed Q-J-9, you have a straight. Or what is referred to as a "made hand".

In poker, a made hand is one that does not need improvement to win, in contrast to a drawing hand. For example in draw poker, if you have two pairs, and your opponent is drawing for a straight or flush, you are said to have a made hand because even though you will be drawing a card just as he will, you can win even if you do not draw a card that improves your hand, while he cannot win unless he improves.
