Mal Hatun

Wikipedia: Mal Hatun

Mal Hatun was the wife of Osman I, Valide Sultan, and probably daughter of Sheik Edebali.

NOTE: In Turkish version of this article, the writer argues that Malhun Hatun or Mala Hatun (not Mal Hatun) was not the daughter of Sheik Edebali, she was the daughter of an Anatolian Turk Bey (Lord) Ömer Bey. The second wife of Osman I was Rabia Bala Hatun and just she was the daughter of Sheik Edebali. Both Mala Hatun and Rabia Bala Hatun was Turk, not Byzantine pride as being the some wives of the next emperors.
