Character Bio
Just south of Vallakia is a small town where Malus used to live with his parents. As Dracula's resurrection began and the dreaded mansion rematerialized, a messenger rode into the small burgh. A conniving demon followed the messenger and waited until nightfall, summoning his wicked brethren. That night they attacked and burned the village to the ground, vanquishing all but one of the townspeople. Only a young boy named Malus survived, though he was captured and taken aboard the back of a winged demon that brought him to the mansion.Malus was thrown into a cell and left alone for days. Starving and scared, the boy managed to escape but continues his search for a way out of the mansion. He quickly learned the pathways of the hedge maze and uses that knowledge to elude any adversaries until the coast is clear and he can return to scrounging for food. Any who have seen the boy are a bit taken aback at his complete calmness in such an evil place. Why did Dracula kidnap Malus? No one is quite sure.
