Mamala

Mamala is a small village in Ernakulam district of Kerala state, south India. Mamala is 17 km away from the main city Ernakulam.

There is an Excise office in the main junction. During the rule of kings ( Maharaja), Mamala was the border of Cochin and Travancore kingdoms.

N.H 49 (National Highway) Kochi- Madhurai passes through Mamala - from Ernakulam to Muvattupuzha.

St.Georges Chappel Kakkadu is about 1.5 km from Mamala junction.There is a Homoeo dispensary run by Dr.M.K.Kuriakose and Dr.Prasad, near the junction.
