Mammal is the self-titled first release, in the form of an EP by Melbourne band Mammal. The band sold the EP independently at their live shows and on their website until in 2007 they struck a deal with MGM to distribute the EP so that the band could remain independently free from a label. The original version of the EP is no longer in print, replaced by the MGM version.
