Mandalay Bay Events Center is a 12,000 seat indoor arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.[1] It is owned by MGM Mirage.
It has hosted major boxing and UFC events, as well as concerts by such artists as Luis Miguel, Bon Jovi, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Eagles, Green Day, Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Kiss, Alejandro Fernández, Spice Girls, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Jonas Brothers and Shakira.
On July 11, 2009, it played host to the historic UFC 100 PPV event. It also hosted UFC 106 on November 21, 2009. It will also host UFC 114 on May 29, 2010
It was host to the 2007 NBA All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game. It also hosted the Latin Grammy Awards in 2007 and 2009. VH1 held the first two Rock Honors ceremonies in this facility in 2006 and 2007.
The Black Eyed Peas are set to perform during their END World Tour on December 29 and 30.
The Mandalay Bay Events Center also hosted Metallica on December 5, 2009. Tickets for the concert sold out within a matter of hours.
