Mankulam is a village in Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala.[1] The village is geographically located 32 KM from Adimaly, Idukki, Kerala. Most of the inhabitants came from the Central Trvancore area, Kerala during the time of encroachment in early 1970s.[citation needed]
As of 2001[update] India census, Mankulam had a population of 9607 with 4920 males and 4687 females.[1]
This is a naturally beautiful vallage near to Munnar. majority of the people are depended on agriculture and allied activities for their livelihood.
