2007 - 2008
Marc Mysterio first became recognized in 2007 for his first single "Answer This" (featuring Linda Newman);[5][6][7] however, most recognize for his follow up hit single "Let Loose" to be his first release, featuring the vocals of Laura V (whom prior to that, was featured on the hit song "Changes" by Chris Lake).
2009
On January 2, 2009, Marc Mysterio and Téo Moss released a cover version of "One More Time" featuring the vocals of Yardi Don.[8] In a press release, Mysterio noted his reasoning for producing the cover was his difficulty in mixing the original in his DJ sets due to its slow tempo. He and Moss consider "One More Time" to be a great influence in their work and intended to create a version of the song with a "2009 feel".[9]. The cover version was charted in multiple countries worldwide, and received widespread airplay in USA, although did not crack the top 40. On May 4, 2008; Spinnin Records released Roll Wit It in Europe.
"Tomorrow" Marc Mysterio feat. Samantha Fox
Marc Mysterio released "Tomorrow", featuring Samantha Fox, which debuted on radio worldwide on August 7, 2009 on stations worldwide, including: NRJ, Power 106, and Radio 538.[10].[11]
British pop star Samantha Fox has teamed with Canadian musician Marc Mysterio on "Tomorrow," a new dance single available exclusively through Beatport.[12]
The song was released Tuesday, September 15 on World Class Records / Amerada Music.[12]
"This week, I started to get the butterflies in my stomach whenever I think about 'Tomorrow' -- the same feeling I had when 'Touch Me' was on the cusp of breaking out in the 80s," Fox said in a statement reported by UPI (United Press International).[12]
"We are an underground music store, but we also work with artists that have a crossover appeal," said Dave Heugel, the European label manager at Beatport, a popular digital retailer for dance music. "Marc Mysterio's 'Tomorrow' is a great song with plenty of mass appeal, and fits well within our shop. Additionally, the vocals from Samantha Fox are great."[12]
A music video for the song is also being shot and is expected to be released in October 2009.[12]
It has since been signed by Sony Music [1]
