Marius (Hendrikus) Flothuis
(b Amsterdam, 30 Oct 1914). Dutch composer. He studied musicology at Amsterdam University but is self-taught as a composer. He wrote a large amount of generally lyrical, tonal and contrapuntal music, in many genres; as a scholar he has brought particular insights to Mozart.
