Mark Goodman (born October 11, 1952, New York, NY) is a radio DJ, TV personality, and actor. He is best known as one of the original five VJs on MTV, from 1981-1987. He was the first of the five to be broadcast, and introduced the channel's first video, "Video Killed the Radio Star" by The Buggles, on 1 August 1981. He is currently a DJ for Sirius XM Radio's The Spectrum and The 80s on 8 with the other three original MTV VJs still living, Nina Blackwood, Martha Quinn, and Alan Hunter.
Goodman can also be seen hosting numerous shows on VH1 Classic.
Goodman hosted the Illinois Lottery game show Illinois Instant Riches and its revamp Illinois' Luckiest from 1994 to 2000.
