Markham Road is a north-south route in Toronto. The section was downloaded from the province of Ontario and renamed from Highway 48 to the old name of Markham Road. The current road stretches from Lake Ontario to Toronto's northern border at Steeles Avenue.
Markham Road is served by the TTC route 102.
Some of the provincial highway designation signs continue to exist along the York Regional Road 68.
