Marmadesam, meaning "Mysterious Land" in Tamil, is a collection of short stories by Indira Soundarajan, a Tamil novelist. This was lately made into a television series, which was directed by Naga. Naga is currently directing a film for S Pictures, Anandhapurathu Veedu.

Marmadesam is a collection of short stories dealing with religion, supernatural occurrences and extra-sensory perception. The main stories are:

- Vidhadhu Karuppu (Karuppu never spares)
- Sorna Reghai (Golden palmlines)
- Iyanthira Paravai
- Vaanathu Manidhargal
Other versions
The story Vidadhu Karuppu was an inspiration for the Tamil film Anniyan which also concerns MPD or Multiple Personality Disorder. The Tamil film Chandramukhi, too, is based on multiple personality disorder.
