marshaler
A person on an apron or a flight dispersal– guiding aircraft on the ground with the help of hands or marshaling pads or lights (at night). A marshaler guides the pilot while parking, moving out of a parking slot, or maneuvering near obstructions or other aircraft. See marshaling.
