Martin Grove Road

Wikipedia: Martin Grove Road
A Martin Grove Road sign.

Martin Grove Road is a secondary north south route in Etobicoke, Ontario and York Region to the north of Toronto.

The Toronto section of the road is primarily residential, starting near Burnhamthorpe Road to Highway 401 (Ontario). A short section from the 401 to Rexdale Boulevard is light industrial.

Martin Grove Road displays the extremes of affluent to trouble neighbourhoods in west Toronto. The stretch south of Highway 401 is affluent, but the Rexdale is home to lower income Torontonians.

Beyond Toronto

North of the city, Martin Grove Road is a mix of industrial and residential. From Steeles Avenue to York Regional Road 7 (Highway 7), the road bypasses industrial parks. North of Highway 7 the road snakes through new residential developments in Vaughan, Ontario. The road ends at York Regional Road 27 (Highway 27).

Public Transit

In York Region, when Martin Grove Road meets up with Highway 7, there is a Vivastation on the Viva Orange line, namely Martin Grove.
