Marty James is an American singer-songwriter and record producer.
As the front man and producer of Scapegoat Wax and One Block Radius, he has released multiple albums and singles with his two groups.[1][2]
Marty James has worked with a number of recording artists, producers and songwriters, including Akon, Ari Levine and Phil Lawrence (The Smeezingtons), Baby Bash, B.o.B, Chamillionaire, Chris Rene, Dev, Diane Warren, DJ Felli Fel, E-40, Eric Valentine, Eve, Far East Movement, Greg Kurstin, Happy Perez, Hot Chelle Rae, Iyaz, Jason Derülo, JR Rotem, Kara DioGuardi, Karmin, Laidback Luke, Lil Jon, Mann, MSTRKRFT, MoZella, Nelly, Paul Wall, Paula DeAnda, Pixie Lott, Rick Rock, Sean Kingston, Scoop DeVille, Snoop Dogg, The Rej3ctz and Toby Gad.[3]
He has had songs featured in over a dozen major motion pictures plus several TV placements.
In late 2010, he signed with the Los Angeles based management company Indie-Pop Music.[4] In 2011, Marty James released the single “Just in Time” featuring Dev. He is currently working on a new project that will be released in 2012.
