Marv K. Harshman (born October 4, 1917) is a former college men's basketball coach native to Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA. His collegiate career started coaching at his alma mater of Pacific Lutheran University (1945-58), where he also was the head football coach from 1951 to 1957, compiling a 27-26-2 record. He later coached at Washington State University (1958-71) and then at the University of Washington from 1971 to 1985. He compiled a 642-448 collegiate record winning PAC-8 coach of the year in (1976), PAC-10 Coach of the Year (1982, 1984) and Kodak Coach of the Year for Division 1 basketball (1984). Harshman was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in April 1985.
