Mask fetishism is a desire to see a subject wearing a mask or taking off a mask. The mask may be a Halloween mask, a surgical mask, ski mask, ninja mask, gas mask, a latex mask, or any other kind of mask.
Anesthesia fetishism could be considered a very specific form of mask fetishism, as its most common point of focus is the mask placed over a patient's face to administer inhaled anesthetics.
