Maskeliya is a town in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, it has previously been the site of the worst accident in the aviation history of Sri Lanka.
It is famously known for its mountains and estates. The actual town is built on a combination of 3 estates. Even though its been the site of a famous air craft accident it is not known by many citizens of the country.[1]
