Arista celebrated its 30th anniversary by releasing The Heritage Series, spotlighting the most popular artists on the label. The Phyllis Hyman installment in The Heritage Series is pretty much a straight hits collection, featuring highlights from her stint at the label. While she was at Arista, she achieved the peak of her popularity with such hits as "Betcha By Golly Wow," "Somewhere in My Lifetime," "Kiss You All Over," "Complete Me," and "Just Another Face in the Crowd."
