Wikipedia: Matt Lindenmuth

Matt Lindenmuth is a top-ranked professional vert and street inline skater, as well as a professional snowboarder. He is most known for being the first action sports athlete in the world to do a double backflip on a vert ramp, often referred to as a 'Double Lindy'. At the 2002 Summer X-Games Matt attempted but failed to pull off the first ever triple backflip on a vert ramp.

Born on March 1, 1981 in Kutztown, Pennsylvania.

Matt began inline skating with his family when he was 9 years old. He joined the pro tour at age 14 and has been traveling and competing around the world since 1994. Matt has competed in ESPN’s X Games, NBC’s Gravity Games, AST Dew Tour, ASA Pro Tour, LG Word Tour and many other notable international events and competitions. Matt is the first inline athlete in the world to land a “Double Lindy”, a double back flip on the Vert Ramp and the first action sport athlete to attempt triple back flips on the Vert Ramp.

In 2004 Matt also began competing in professional snowboard events including Vans Triple Crown, Vans Cup, Burton Global Open Series, World Superpipe Championships, US Grand Prix, and others, making Matt one of the few athletes to compete in multiple sports in both summer and winter X Games, Dew Tour and Gravity Games. Since the late ‘80s Matt has been rooted in the ever-progressing industry of Action Sports. Born into the counter cultures that came to build the character of an alternative youth driven market place, Matt has been inspirationally growing through the passionate creative arts and media of conscious unique minded individuals and companies. He has networked the interests of similar minded brands to join advertising forces, and executed successful mobile marketing, sales, and advertising strategies in their interest. With focus on building creative brand identity, authentic relationships, and experiential events, Matt has taken his endorsement value above and beyond the common athlete.
