Matthew Wait (born 1966) is an English actor, most famous as Luke Warren in the television series Casualty. He currently runs acting classes for young people at City College, Brighton.
Wait studied at Rose Bruford College. Before joining as a regular character in 2003, Wait had appeared in Casualty in 1996 playing a character called David. Before joining in 2003 he spent time with the Eastbourne Ambulance Service to experience real-life paramedics in action.
He lives in Brighton, with his wife and two children. He enjoys travelling.
