Matte Babel (born October 13, 1980) is a Canadian television personality. Formerly a VJ for MuchMusic, where he co-hosted Much on Demand, The IT List and Much 911[1]. He also served as a morning host on Toronto's all-news channel CablePulse 24. He has also made appearances in music videos such as Rich London's The Answer and in k-os' 4, 3, 2, 1 and I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman. He appeared in an episode of Degrassi.
He left CP24 in 2011 to become ET Canada's new LA correspondent.[1]

Babel was born in the Toronto district of Driftwood Ave.
