Matte Babel (born October 13, 1980) is a Canadian television personality. Formerly a VJ for MuchMusic, where he co-hosted Much on Demand, The IT List and Much 911,[1] he is now a morning host on Toronto's all-news channel CablePulse 24.
Biography
Babel was born in the Toronto district of North York. He graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo with an honours degree majoring in communications and sociology.[1] After graduating, Babel showed up at MuchMusic and convinced the station to hire him as a VJ.[1]
In March 2009, Matte Babel left MuchMusic and moved over to CP24's new morning show CP24 Breakfast.
