Maureen Ursenbach Beecher (born 1935)[1] was an English professor at Brigham Young University who has also been in the past associated with the Joseph Fielding Smith Institute for Church History at that university. Although she has written at times broadly on the history of Latter-day Saint women her main focus has been on Eliza R. Snow and her literary works.
Beecher retired from BYU in 1997 after having been on the faculty there for 25 years.
