Maurice (Willis) Wright
(b Front Royal, va, 17 Oct 1949). American composer. He studied at Duke University and Columbia and in 1980 joined the faculty at Temple University. His earlier works are 12-note, but in 1978 he began using a more lyrical tonal style. His large output includes chamber, choral and electronic music.
