Mauricio Castro (born August 11, 1981 in Tegucigalpa) is a Honduran soccer player who currently plays for New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.

Club

Castro began his career in his native Honduras, playing for six seasons in Honduras' top division, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras, for Motagua, Universidad, Hispano and Olimpia. Castro signed for the New England Revolution on February 15, 2008[1].

International

Castro is part part of the Honduran national team, and was part of the squad which competed at the 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup.
