Media Planning Group (MPG) is one of the world's leading media buying firms, offering strategic planning and market media research and business intelligence consulting services to clients in more than 100 countries. It creates strategies for where to place ads across a variety of media, including television, print, and online, and then buys those spots for its clients. MPG also plans direct response and product placement campaigns and buys commercial placement in non-traditional media, such as sports venues. Established in 1978, it is the biggest network within the Havas Media segment of Paris-based advertising conglomerate Havas.
