Megaforce Records is an American Record label started by Johny Zazula and his wife. It has gone on to release albums by many other artists. The label is best known for releasing Metallica's debut album Kill 'Em All.
Megaforce Records began in 1982, and the label's first signee was Metallica. Megaforce Records is distributed in the USA through Sony BMG Music Entertainment/RED Distribution. MRI is its sister distribution company and has released diverse artists such as The Verve, Willie Nelson, Andrew Bird, Third Eye Blind, and many others.
