The Meghalaya Police is the law enforcement agency for the state of Meghalaya in India.

Organizational structure

Meghalaya Police comes under direct control of Department of Home Affairs, Government of Meghalaya. The Meghalaya Police is headed by Director General of Police (DGP) presently Mr.Prem Singh (IPS)

The Total Strength of Meghalaya Police is 10,568 persons serving in various positions .The Head quarter of Meghalaya police is in secretariat hill,Shillong^[1]
