This program is part of a series, narrated by Edmund Capon, that takes the viewer to China to learn about the art history of that land, whose cultural heritage spans thousands of years. Generous presentations of artwork are placed in context of both the people and the expansive landscape that produced them. This episode focuses on some of the great architectural monuments and natural formations that embody the Chinese artistic sensibility.
