Melanochelys

Melanochelys is a genus of turtle in the family Geoemydidae. Members are found in India, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal.^[1]

Species

Melanochelys contains only the following two species:^[1]

• Indian black turtle (Melanochelys trijuga)^[1]
• Tricarinate hill turtle (Melanochelys tricarinata)^[1]
