The Melbourne Stars is a franchise in Australia's newly announced Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League.[1] The Stars will wear a green kit.[2]
The Stars will play their home matches at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. They will be coached by Victorian Bushrangers and Delhi Daredevils coach Greg Shipperd.[3] Their inaugural captain is Australian T20 and Victorian Bushrangers captain Cameron White.[4]
