Plot

Octogenarian Melvin Owens talks about his pottery craft as he creates new projects in his North Carolina workshop. Viewers will see him cutting clay, working at his pottery wheel, and demonstrating some of the pottery-making techniques that artisans have been using since the 18th century. Owens also talks about his love of music as he plays his guitar and how much he enjoys cooking while he prepares a dish in his old-fashioned kitchen. ~ Elizabeth Smith, Rovi
