If you've lost the spring in your step and need a little care, Memorial Medical Center will be there. As the flagship facility for Memorial Health System in Springfield, Illinois, this acute care and teaching hospital provides a wide range of medical and surgical services as well as emergency medicine. Its myriad specialties include cardiovascular care, maternity services, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedics, and burn medicine. A second campus, called Koke Mill Medical Center features an urgent care clinic, X-ray and mammography facilities, and an outpatient physical therapy center. The 560-bed hospital is a teaching affiliate of the Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine.
