Review

Much more controlled than the sample chaos spread all over the first Odd Toot record, Mental Money is an excellently recorded album of trip-hop and jungle indebted to the tongue-in-cheek lewd fantasies of Aphex Twin. Inventive drum manipulation makes "Moo Says" a highlight, and "Shoddy Rudder" includes brass and saxes, plus the High Llamas' Sean O'Hagan on guitar. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
