Plot

This documentary centers upon the prophetic healers of the Democratic Republic of Congo -- itself a war-torn place of disease and extreme impoverishment that is overrun with these Machiavellian miracle men who promise cures and ailments to those in desperate need. Filmmaker Gilles Remiche travels to the area in search of these men who prey upon their pathetic brethren in the guise of spiritual awakening.
