Metagenes of Athens (fl. c. late C5 BC) was involved with others in the building of the Periclean Telesterion, or Hall of the Mysteries, Eleusis (c.430 BC). Metagenes of Knossos, son of Chersiphron, worked on the great C6 BC Ionic Temple of Artemis, Ephesus, and contributed to an architectural treatise (now lost).
