coenzyme-B sulfoethylthiotransferase, EC 2.8.4.1, an enzyme in methanogenic archaea that catalyses the final reaction of methanogenesis: the reaction of methyl coenzyme M and coenzyme B, with the formation of the mixed disulfide and release of methane. Contains the nickel-containing factor F430.
