Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Animation, or MGM Animation for short, is a division of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) motion picture studio in Hollywood, California, USA which specializes in animated productions for theatrical features and television. Established in 1993, as a successor to the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer cartoon studio, the company is primarily involved in producing children's entertainment based upon properties owned by MGM such as The Pink Panther, The Secret of NIMH, and All Dogs Go to Heaven.
