Miami Southridge Senior High School is a secondary school located at 19355 SW 114 Avenue in Miami, Florida, USA (in the South Miami Heights, Florida area). Its principal is David K. Moore. The school serves ninth through twelfth grade students in a mostly unincorporated suburban and rural area in the southern stretches of Miami-Dade County, Florida between South Miami and Homestead. Southridge's athletic rival is Miami Killian Senior High School.

Miami Southridge Senior High School is 48.2% Hispanic, 40.3% Black, 8.7 % White; the remaining percentages include Asian, Indian, and multiracial ethnicities. Fifty-four percent (54.9%) of the students are eligible for free and reduced lunch, 19.2% are Students With Disabilities (SWD), and 9.3% are Limited English Proficient (LEP) students.[1]

  • Shah Bobonis Class of 1997 Wrestled under coach Husk and coach K. Johnson. As a freshman he qualified for the state tournament. After suffering a knee injury on his sophomore year Bobonis stayed out of wrestling and concentrated on Baseball. He was drafted by the Seattle Marines but did not sign. On 9-27-2007, Bobonis had his first professional Mix Martial Arts fight. His record is now 12-6 after going 4-0 in 2011.

[1] He is the former 155lbs. and current 145lbs. Champion for Combate Extremo the largest Mix Martial Arts promotion in Mexico. [2] Bobonis last fought on 9-17-11 under the world recognize promotion BELLATOR, [3] where he defeated Marcos De Matta a Pan-American games Judo bronze medalist and 3 times World Jujitsu Champion.
