Biography

Australian-born Michael Johns relocated to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to pursue his singing career with a band called the Rising. Things with the group didn't pan out, but Johns kept working and a little more than ten years later, his effort paid off when he auditioned for the seventh season of American Idol and made it not only to Hollywood, but to the coveted top 24. ~ Cammila Albertson, Rovi
