Review

Michael Jordan to the Max is the soundtrack to the documentary of the same name, a look at Jordan's background, career, and final championship shot in the IMAX format. As can be expected, there are a few jock-jam staples here, but there are also some specifically Jordan/Chicago-oriented anthems (e.g., Freddie King's take on "Sweet Home Chicago"), plus some soulful, lightly funky R&B. Rabid Jordan fans will also be pleased to find the Alan Parsons Project track "Sirius" (that spacy instrumental used in the Bulls' pregame introductions) and the Bigwigs' "Be Like Mike," a bouncy fan-worship number that started out as a Gatorade jingle. ~ Steve Huey, Rovi
