Michael Snow (born in Pfullendorf, Germany)[1] is a Seattle-based lawyer and the current chair of the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees.[2]

Snow has volunteered for Wikipedia since December 2003.[3] He is also a Wikipedia administrator and the founder of the English Wikipedia community newsletter, The Signpost.[4]

In 2006 Snow served as a spokesman for the Wikimedia Foundation,[5]was appointed to the board in February 2008 and elected chairman on July 17, 2008.[6]
