Biography
French screenwriter and filmmaker Michel Audiard co-wrote over one hundred films during the '50s and '60s. He was noted for his snappy dialogue. Prior to working in the film industry, he was an optician, bicycle racer, a journalist, and a novelist. Pierre Michel Audiard (May 15, 1920 – July 7, 1985) was a French dialogue writer and film director. He is the father of French film director Jacques Audiard.
