The Mickey Mouse Universe (not an official term used by the Walt Disney Company) is the setting where Mickey Mouse and the characters associated with him live. Characters in this universe use many Ajax brand products, similar to Looney Tunes, Felix the Cat universe and other Warner Brothers characters using Acme products. The city they live in is called Mouseton, according to Disney's Standard Characters publications guide and most North American Disney comics from 1990 onward. In Disney theme parks, the Mickey Mouse Universe characters' houses are located in Mickey's Toontown. The characters' city is also occasionally identified as Duckburg; erroneous by modern North American mythology, but reflecting the tradition of German and Scandinavian Disney comics, in which Mouseton and Duckburg are the same place. In Kingdom Hearts and its sequel Kingdom Hearts II a world known as Disney Castle exists with the possibility of that being the world that the Mickey Mouse Universe takes place in. The group of characters in the Mickey Mouse Universe are known as The Mickey Mouse Club. Main Characters are known as V.I.P. characters.
