Microsoft C

 

A C compiler and development system for DOS/Windows applications from Microsoft. It includes the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK). Version 7.0 added C++ capability and Version 1.0 of the Microsoft Foundation Class Library (MFC), which provides a base framework of object-oriented code to build an application upon. Microsoft C was superseded by Visual Studio. See Visual C++.
