Miguel Morayta (born August 15, 1907 in Villahermosa, Ciudad Real) is a Spanish film director and screenwriter.[1] He directed 74 films between 1944 and 1978. At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, Moryata was a Spanish artillery officer who joined the Republican side. After Franco's victory, he left Spain for France and Africa, finally arriving in Mexico in 1941.[1]
